The one with the... Kitchen Makeover (Part 6 - The Grand Reveal!!!)

For those of you who have followed along with Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, this is what it's all come down to...the big reveal! While we had not originally planned to take on such a large project at this time, we are extremely happy and excited about how it turned out. It took A LOT of hard work and long hours to get this done within our own established deadline but it was definitely worth it! So without further ado...here are the before and afters:

In Part 2 of the Kitchen Makeover, we mentioned the gap in between the new Advantium and oven. When we ordered the base cabinet to replace the trash compactor we also ordered a 8 ft long kick plate. Obviously we didn't need 8 feet's worth for the base cabinet so we re-purposed the kick plate and used it to fill in the gap in between the Advantium and the oven. Now it looks like the cabinet was specially made for the two appliances.

Finally, the Kitchen Makeover is complete! It's been a HUGE learning experience for both of us, and the best part is that we tackled this challenge together! We saved a lot of money by doing it ourselves and it turned out better than either of us could have ever imagined! Thanks for joining us on our unexpected 5 week adventure!
