Dining Room Makeover
When we moved into the house, the first thing I wanted to do was paint! All the rooms on the first floor are painted an offwhite color, which is fine when your house is on the market, but not so cool when you've been living with white walls since you left for college! Because we enjoy entertaining, the dining room was one of the first rooms I wanted to set up. To my dismay, I realized that the previous owners had painted over wallpaper in the dining room!!!!! Not only that, they also did not remove any of the faceplates or hardware before they painted, AND they put crown moulding up OVER the wallpaper!
Special thanks to my friend Melissa for helping me with the tedious task of wallpaper removal, washing the walls with water and vinegar (three times), and for providing moral support!

How did you get the lines so perfect at the edges? I find it really hard not mess up at the edges/corners..even if I'm using painting tape. Tips?
I used blue tape and it turned out ok. I also just got a "Shur Line" tool that is supposed to help you with the moulding and edges. I'll let you know how that goes!
