It's been a while since we blogged about our home improvements projects, but it is for good reason! We've been so busy working on the house that we haven't had time to post! That and Dave took a few weekends off to work on his car.
The biggest project that we've done so far to the house is replacing the roof. While we didn't exactly do the roof ourselves, it was still a pretty big project (for the home and the checkbook!)
So here it is... This is what the house and the roof looked like before (with Dave's Miata parked out front)...
And here it is after the new roof was installed. The architectural shingles make the roof look really nice and neat! Hopefully this roof will last us for another 30+ years!
I think it's just trick photography. The 'before' pic was taken on a cloudy, gloomy day. The 'after' pic was taken on a sunny day with bright blue skies. Of course it's going to look better. :)
Seriously, it looks very nice. Nice house, overall. We went with the architectural on our house too.
