Tub/Shower Faucet Unit Replacement and Shut-off Installation

Hi!

Now that we've completed our first journey into the sewer side of plumbing, we're going to work on the other end of the plumbing system - the water side! This post documents the replacement of an old tub/shower diverter unit with new valve stems and of course, new faucet heads and handles. Toward the end, we began to realize that the kit we purchased was probably not the best engineered system, and not the best for our bath either. Nevertheless, it works and doesn't leak like the old unit so all is well! Without further delay, let's get started...
